Over 40 sites across the metro are confirmed to allow unhoused individuals in — a key distinction from many community centers. Cool KC is actively developing a digital water and cooling access map.
Routes without flowing water within 1 mile will have water bottles available on buses and at nearby agencies.

Shower Access
Fewer than 100 individuals/day can access showers in KC. A working group is actively recruiting church and facility partners to expand access.
